Auckland’s Southern Corridor Improvements Project includes the stretch of Southern Motorway from Manukau down to Papakura in the south. Construction firm CPB Contractors secured the design and construct contract to improve this critical transport link. CPB Contractors began work in October 2015 to widen and improve the motorway and construction is ongoing.

After decades of use as a gasworks operation, the soil and groundwater at this site near Macdonaldtown station had become contaminated. The historic site housed a gasworks operation from 1892 until 1958 which produced gas for railway carriages and the Eveleigh Railway Workshops.

Watpac is currently constructing two new schools – Arthur Phillip High and Parramatta Public. The project, valued at $187 million, is set to deliver a new high-rise high school for up to 2,000 students. Additionally, Parramatta Public School will have a new multi-storey building.
Fortress Fencing supplied Select Plant Hire with 50m of Water-Wall™ Waterfilled Barriers. Workers installed the barriers along Maze Crescent. This therefore created a safe protective barrier between traffic and pedestrians.
National Parks and Wildlife Service staff identified that the concrete picnic shelter at Little Bay had become unsafe. The roof had partially collapsed and additionally, there was structural damage to the concrete. The brick and concrete block construction had sustained damage that had rendered it unsafe for public use.

Fortress Fencing supplied WJD Properties with 72 square metres of Vinyl Hoarding Banners which were fitted to the Class B Hoarding located on the corner of Merriman Street and Bettington Street, Millers Point.
Fortress Fencing supplied John Holland Murphy Pipe Civil JV with 100 linear metres of Fortress Sound Barrier acoustic curtains. These were installed on temporary fencing around the site to reduce noise to the surrounding suburban area whilst trenches were excavated.
