Temporary crowd control barriers spotted at Sydney University

The Project

Historic Sydney University was undergoing some minor works which made it necessary to excavate a small area of the lawn.

The Challenge

Part of a busy thoroughfare, the site needed to be well marked by the contractors with a highly visible safety fence.

The Solution

The Fortress Fencing high vis orange crowd barriers were the ideal solution. Made to be easily transportable yet tough and stable, these steel crowd barriers can be clipped together to form continuous runs of fencing. They are easy to configure around corners and at right angles thanks to the simple pin locking mechanism.

Featuring removable feet for easy stacking and transport, they have a low profile design meaning they will not present a tripping hazard for pedestrians.

Fortress Crowd Control Barriers – Features and Benefits

The Fortress Fencing crowd control barriers are a system of interlocking, free-standing panels. Simple to install, durable and easy to stack when not in use, they are ideal for civil construction, public events, sporting venues, cafes and restaurants and of course, for work sites.

The sturdy design of our crowd control barriers coupled with the anti-corrosion galvanised finished and the ability to bolt down the feet makes these barriers an ideal choice for temporary crowd control.

The barriers also come with pre-drilled holes for more long term bolt down installations, plus they will ensure you meet WH&S requirements whilst providing maximum safety to both workers and pedestrians.

This superb fencing option is available in 2 fully welded finishes – your choice of galvanised steel silver barriers or highly visible orange powder-coated steel finish.

The most versatile temporary barriers

Fortress Fencing’s lightweight crowd control barriers have been used in all kinds of projects, from simple repairs such as this to the country’s biggest infrastructure projects.
