The Project
Strathfield Municipal Council has engaged a contractor to supply and lay a new synthetic sports field at Sydney’s Strathfield Park. While natural turf requires a period of recovery after utilisation, synthetic fields can endure heavy use of over 60 hours per week, which will provide more opportunity for residents to get the benefits of fitness through sports and recreation.
Prior to the synthetic turf being laid, the contractor needed to block off the area from the public for safety and security. The busy park is heavily utilised by local residents, so a strong temporary fence was necessary to ensure the field construction could continue as planned without the risk of trespassing or damage to property.
The contractor sought a temporary fence that featured anti-climb mesh, and that was quick and easy to install.
The Solution
Fortress Fencing supplied our strong yet lightweight temporary fencing to surround the site whilst the synthetic surface was being installed.
Fortress Fencing temporary fence panels are strong yet lightweight, meaning they are easy to install. They are the ideal security solution for both small and large construction sites.
Whilst some fence panels are complicated to set up, Fortress Fencing can be installed by just one person. The mesh panels measure 2.1 metres high and the quick install process provides immediate security. Featuring anti-climb mesh for added security, this sturdy fencing panel will keep your site safe, protecting both your property and also protecting the public from potential safety hazards on site.
Constructed to meet Australian Standards, the Fortress Fencing temporary fencing range includes couplers and clamps to hold the panels firmly together, as well as concrete filled bases or feet, and bracing and stays for added support and stability.
