The Project
Penrith in Western Sydney has a new restaurant and lifestyle precinct situated along the popular Nepean River. The modern restaurant strip is gearing up for the next round of development with a large adjacent lot earmarked for further construction. This area known as The Farm, is being developed by the team behind Penrith’s popular Percy Plunkett restaurant.
As The Farm is situated in an extremely popular pedestrian and cycling zone, it was critical that the developers ensured that the public would be protected from site operations. A sturdy temporary fence was required.
Local scaffolding and access experts Peak Scaffolding Solutions were engaged to secure the perimeter with approximately 120m of Fortress temporary fencing.
Being fast and easy to install, the team of two from Peak Scaffolding Solutions were able to erect the fence quickly without hassles. This ensured that the next trades to arrive and begin early works could do so within a tight time frame.
The Solution
Fortress Fencing temp fencing panels are strong and durable, yet lightweight and strong. Available in small or large quantities, they are perfect for large construction sites, enclosing hazards, concert and festival crowd control, event perimeters, environmental control and general road and civil works.
For a simple light duty solution, the Fortress 2000 Series is a light, low cost temporary fencing panel that offers great value. Featuring anti-climb mesh for added security, this sturdy fencing panel is easy to install and will keep your site safe.
Each panel measures 2.1 metres high and the quick install process provides immediate security to your site. Perfect for civil construction projects, large building and commercial construction, sporting events and environmental protection areas.
It can also be used in small quantities to restrict access around safety hazards on site or in the public domain.
