The GPO Exchange Building – valued at $100 million and comprising of a 24,500 m2 A-grade commercial office space with above ground car park and a retail precinct will be located in the heart of Adelaide.
Private construction group Built is set to deliver the 20-storey tower that will be integrated with the heritage Telephone Exchange Building.
Built received 102 meters of fortress fencing concrete jersey barriers for the Project. Painted black and branded by Built themselves to go along with the Class B hoarding. Providing a professional facade around the building site. Built incorporated the concrete barriers into the hoarding above by attaching support beams. Providing safe passage for pedestrians during construction of the apartments. Rated to 100 km/h with minimal deflection, in case someone was to lose control or try to ram the barriers. The DB80 barriers are approved by VIC Roads, TMR and RMS.
